Sheila P. Kambin, M.D. is a gynecologist who practices at Lankenau Medical Center in the Thomas Jefferson University Health System outside of Philadelphia. Dr. Kampin works very closely with the department of oncology caring for women with breast cancer. She is currently a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Kambin has a special interest in patient-centered care and managing the gynecologic complications of breast cancer treatment. Her practice focus includes the management of surgical and medical menopause, including an individualized approach to treating side effects and changes in sexual function associated with adjuvant hormonal therapies. In addition, Dr. Kambin has a personal interest in caring for patients with inheritable breast cancer. She focuses on risk management and enhanced cancer screening for women at high risk for ovarian cancer and other gynecologic malignancies.
She is a caring physician who has a thoughtful and empathetic approach to her patients. Dr. Kambin is thrilled to be a member of the Breastancer.org Professional Advisory Board. She is keenly aware of the impact that breast cancer and the treatment of breast cancer have on a woman's gynecologic health.
